WAEC Extends Registration Deadline for Private Candidates, 2025 First Series

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced an extension for the registration of the 2025 First Series of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates.

The Positive Voice gathered from WAEC’s official page on X that the registration, initially scheduled to close on Monday, January 6, 2025, has now been extended to Monday, January 20, 2025.

This extension aims to give intending candidates additional time to complete their registration process.
