The Governing Council of Adamawa State University (ADSU) has announced the appointment of Professor Augustine Clement as the institution’s new Vice Chancellor.
Professor Clement, the immediate past Head of the Department of Animal Production, will officially assume office on February 5, 2025.
The appointment was confirmed on Tuesday by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Maxwell Gidado, during a press briefing in Yola.
According to Gidado, Clement was selected from 23 applicants following the Governing Council’s recommendation and the subsequent approval by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.
“The Governing Council hereby announces Professor Augustine Clement as the substantive Vice Chancellor of Adamawa State University,” Gidado declared.
