Afe Babalola University Matriculates Over 2,000 Students For 2024/2025 Academic session

Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), has officially welcomed its newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Smaranda Olarinde, while addressing the newly admitted students during the matriculation ceremony, stressed the importance of making wise choices and fostering positive relationships throughout their academic journey.

Prof. Olarinde emphasized that ABUAD is not just an institution for acquiring knowledge but a platform for building character and nurturing future leaders. She encouraged the students to avoid distractions and negative influences, urging them to focus on personal growth and align themselves with individuals who inspire excellence.

“Here at ABUAD, we are committed to producing individuals who stand out not only academically but also in their morals, discipline, and innovation,” she stated. “Make the most of this opportunity by embracing the values and principles that define our institution.”

The Vice-Chancellor highlighted the university’s achievements under the guidance of its founder, Aare Afe Babalola, describing the institution as a trailblazer in modern education. She also reiterated the importance of maintaining discipline and upholding the university’s code of conduct, which she said is designed to create an environment where students can thrive.

With a total of 2,955 students admitted across various programs, the ceremony was a pivotal moment for the university and the new students, marking the beginning of their academic.
