The management of Delta State University (DELSU), through the Students’ Union Government (SUG), has released an important notice to students who are yet to pay their school fees for the 2025/2026 academic session but have received the NELFUND loan.
According to the notice, affected students are required to print their 2025/2026 NELFUND Loan Disbursement Page and clearly write their Matriculation Number, Department, and Level on the front of the document. The document is to be submitted at the SUG Secretariat on Wednesday, 28th January, 2026, by 12:00 noon.
The SUG also emphasized that students whose NELFUND portal status is still indicating “Verified” are not expected to submit any document at this time. Such students are advised to patiently wait until their status changes to “Disbursed.” The Union reassured the student body that all verified applications will be disbursed in due course.
The notice was signed by Comr. Oluwabusayo Oloruntobi, Director of Information and Public Relations, Students’ Union Government, Delta State University (DELSU).
