This is to request all applicants (UTME and DE) who applied through JAMB for admissions into Federal University Lokoja (FUL) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session and either selected FUL as their 1st Choice or are willing to change their institution to make FUL their first choice, that the Post-UTME Screening Portal will open from Monday, July 28, 2025 and close on Friday, August 29, 2025.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
To be eligible for the screening exercise, UTME candidates must score at least 160 in the 2025 UTME, while a DE candidate must have applied through JAMB.
ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE-POST-UTME POINT-BASED SYSTEM (PBS)
In light of the economic and security challenges facing our Nation, the University Management has adopted the Online Screening – Point-Based System for the 2025/2026 admissions screening exercise.
Consequently, all applicants (UTME and DE) are to log onto the University’s Post-UTME Screening portal to participate in the screening exercise.
Please read the instructions carefully and adhere to the steps provided below to ensure a successful completion of the screening process:
1. Upload your O’level result(s) on the JAMB portal before visiting the University Post-UTME Portal. Candidates with awaiting result(s) may commence the online registration but would not be able to participate in the online screening until the O’level result is uploaded.
Note that any candidate found to have uploaded falsified O’level result(s) on the JAMB portal, and subsequently gains admission based on such fake documents, will have their admission revoked upon discovery, regardless of when it was discovered and are liable to face prosecution.
2. Applicants must have a valid personal e-mail address before commencing the screening process.
3. To commence the screening exercise visit: www.fulokoja.edu.ng. Click on Admissions – Undergraduate – Post-UTME Portal and log in with your valid 2025 JAMB Registration Number to confirm eligibility.
a) BIODATA PAGE
Once eligible, click on Biodata and update your personal information. DE applicants are to update their previous academic records as requested.
b) PAYMENT PAGE
Generate your RRR [Remita Retrieval Reference] payment invoice of ₦2,000.00 (Post-UTME Screening Charges) using REMITA services (ATM card or bank payment).Click on the “Pay Now” button to process your payment.
c) SCREENING PAGE
i. Choose your most preferred Programme from the drop-down list of courses offered.
ii. Select the 5 O’level subjects that match your choice of Programme and submit.
iii. Complete the process by uploading your O’level Examination details for verification purposes. Upon successful upload, your Post-UTME Screening result will be displayed.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
i. Only applicants who choose FUL as their 1st choice and participated in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise would be considered for admission in the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
ii. Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’ level credits in subjects relevant to their desired course of study. These credits should be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings, except for Programmes in the College of Health Sciences and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where applicants are required to have at least five (5) credit passes in WAEC/NECO in the relevant subjects, achieved in one sitting.
Additionally, a credit in English Language is compulsory for admission into all courses at the Federal University Lokoja. For a detailed O’level, UTME, and DE requirements for courses offered at FUL, please visit the University website:

iii. Only applicants who uploaded their O’level result(s) on their JAMB e-Facility would participate in the screening exercise and be eligible for admission. Please note that uploading O’level result(s) on the JAMB e-Facility can only be done successfully at a JAMB Office or a JAMB-accredited CBT Centre.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
i. A successful screening exercise does not guarantee admission into the Federal University Lokoja. The Central Admissions Committee of the University would still apply other admission modalities when considering your application.
ii. Any anomaly, falsehood or withholding of required information detected with respect to your application at any stage, will lead to automatic disqualification of admission, and any fees paid will not be refunded.
iii. Applicants are expected to adhere strictly to the instructions above.
