GOVERNOR ADELEKE DISMISSES DEFECTION CLAIMS: “I AM NOT LEAVING”

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has firmly denied rumours of his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Speaking at the flag-off ceremony for the dualisation of the 3.5km Ila township road in Ila-Orangun, Adeleke stated that he remains committed to serving the people under the PDP.
He emphasized that his administration has already completed over 175km of roadworks, with more projects like flyovers and dual carriageways underway.
While also in Ikirun to flag off another road project, the governor reaffirmed his dedication to completing the 39km Osogbo-Ikirun-Inisha-Okuku-Ijabe-Ila Odo road within 12 months, a task that took the previous administration 12 years to reach halfway.
Quoting him: “We are all programmed by Almighty God to be what we have been, what we are, and what we will be in future.”
