The Joint Admission Matriculation Board has introduced profile email service in replace of lost registered SIM cards by candidates.
Following the new developments in Jamb which often require access to SIM card by aspirants to access some services which are crucial to their admission JAMB has introduced “Profiled Email” which is a service designed to help candidates who have lost their SIM cards or need to update their email address on the JAMB platform.
This service allows candidates to add a new email address to their profile, which can be used to access various features and services on the platform.
STEPS TO IMPLEMENT THE PROFILED EMAIL SERVICE
Step 1: OBTAIN AND COMPLETE THE TEMPLATE
To start the process, candidates need to visit an accredited CBT center and request the required template (TEMPL 006).
The candidate will then complete the template by filling in the necessary details, such as:
Registration Number
Phone number
Profile code
New email address (which must not have been used on the JAMB platform before).
After the completion, the candidate can then proceed to their portal to check a menu which give them access to all services meant to be accessed through SIM cards.
