The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced dual mode of accepting/rejecting admission offer.
This was introduced at its 2025 policy meeting. Remember few weeks ago, JAMB introduces admission offer accepts/reject to only be done on the candidate’s registered SIM card. However, the institution has now introduced dual way of accepting/rejecting the admission offer. The two official methods for candidates to either accept or reject their admission offers are as follows:
1️⃣ By sending ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same SIM card used for their UTME registration.
2️⃣ By visiting a JAMB-accredited CBT centre to carry out the process using their biometric (fingerprint) verification.
This dual approach aims to make admission confirmation more secure and accessible to all candidates.
