The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh, has appointed Dr. Tajudeen Yusuf as the Director, Centre for Affiliation and Linkages.
The letter notifying Dr. Yusuf of the appointment was signed by the Deputy Registrar, HRD, Mrs Josephine Agbana, for the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, and dated June 2, 2025.
Dr. Tajudeen Yusuf, an Associate Professor of Arabic in the Department of Arabic and French, joined Kwara State University in January 2011.
He holds a B.A. in Arabic from Saudi Arabia, an M.A. in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language from Cairo, and a Ph.D. in Arabic linguistics from Malaysia.
Before this appointment, Dr. Yusuf was a deputy director at the Centre for Language Immersion and Translation. He was at some time the GNS Arabic Coordinator, the P.G. Coordinator for the Arabic Unit, the Examination Officer of the Arabic Unit, and the Faculty of Arts representative on the admissions committee.
