The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially declared Wednesday, August 20, 2025, a work-free day in observance of Isese Day, as directed by the Lagos State Government. In accordance with this directive, all staff members, including both teaching and non-teaching personnel, will observe the holiday. Normal university operations will resume on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.
In line with this announcement, any examinations initially scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, 2025, as part of the ongoing 2024/2025 Second Semester Examinations, will be rescheduled to Monday, September 15, 2025. This adjustment ensures that academic activities proceed smoothly despite the holiday.
