The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) has announced the appointment of Mr. Olatubosun Ajibogun as the new Controller of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command.
Ajibogun, a seasoned correctional service officer with years of experience, has taken over the reins of the FCT command. His appointment is part of a recent reshuffling of senior officers within the Nigerian Correctional Service.
Prior to his appointment, Ajibogun served in various capacities within the NCS, including as Deputy Controller of Corrections and Controller of Corrections. He has also undergone various training programs, both locally and internationally, to enhance his skills and knowledge in correctional services management.
The Nigerian Correctional Service has also recently promoted several officers, including four who were promoted from the rank of Controller of Corrections to the rank of Assistant Controller General of Corrections.
The promotions and appointments are aimed at strengthening the leadership and management of the Nigerian Correctional Service, and enhancing its ability to deliver on its mandate of providing effective correctional services to the nation.
The NCS has assured the public that the new appointments and promotions will bring about improved services and better management of correctional facilities across the country.
