The Students’ Union of Kwara State University, Malete, has issued a press release to address concerns about the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration for students.

The CAC registration is a long-standing graduation requirement tied to the university’s entrepreneurship program.
It equips students with practical skills for career advancement.
The requirement for CAC registration remains exclusive to 300-level students, as per the university tradition.
Although there was a proposal to extend this to all levels, Kwara State Students’ Union discussions with management have successfully confirmed that the policy remains unchanged.
According to the Kwara State University Students’ Union, this is not a new policy but a continuation of the established practice.
