CLARIFICATION NOTICE: PAAU STUDENTS, LET US UNITE TO COMBAT MISINFORMATION.

An Official Message from Comrade Muhammed Kashim Abdulmejid, 2025/2026 SUG Aspirant

Dear Fellow Students of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU),

A deeply troubling rumor has been circulating on social media, falsely linking our institution to a scandalous incident. The claim suggests that a PAAU student and a lecturer were involved in a situation that allegedly led to the lecturer’s death and the subsequent arrest of the student. We categorically state that this information is unfounded and misleading.

This rumor is entirely unfounded and lacks any factual basis.

It has come to our attention that a false rumor, allegedly linked to an individual identified as Israel Okayi, who is not enrolled at PAAU is being circulated. As responsible student leaders, we urge everyone to refrain from promoting unverified claims and to stand together in protecting the name of our institution.

Understanding the Harmful Impact of Misinformation

In our interconnected world, false information can go viral in moments. The consequences can be serious reputational damage, public panic, and personal distress. Always fact check before you share.
