The University of Lagos Alumni Association has elected a new National Executive Committee to lead its affairs for the next two years. The election took place during the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Sunday at the UNILAG campus.
The newly elected officers include Mr. IfeOluwa Oyedele as President (Worldwide), Dr. Bala Yesufu as National Vice President 1, and Mr. Lekan Ajisafe as National Vice President 2. Other elected executives include Mr. Bayo Osikoya as National Secretary, Mr. Olumide Akinola as National Assistant Secretary, and Mr. Abayomi Owoeye as National Treasurer.
In his acceptance speech, President Oyedele expressed gratitude to members for their trust and support. He called for unity and collaboration among alumni to advance the association and contribute to the growth of their alma mater.
The AGM recorded strong participation from members both physically and virtually, reflecting the enduring spirit of unity among UNILAG alumni, often referred to as “Akokites.”
